Spontex Thick Moppets are super absorbent and supple. These extra thick and flexible sponge wipes are made from cellulose making them perfect for mopping up spills and wiping down surfaces, especially in kitchens and bathrooms.
Wipe size approx. 16 x 12cm. Assorted colours, mixed pack. Pack will be selected at random.
Usage Guidelines: Always rinse thoroughly before and after each use. Colours may run or stain so test on an inconspicuous area of the surface to be cleaned before using. Use only with diluted bleach (dilute bleach as follows: 180ml of bleach for 5L of water). Machine washable up to 40°C with similar colours as colours may run.
*The sponge wipe is compostable in domestic compost bins, based on tests conduced by an independent laboratory. Dispose of in a suitable compost bin only.
These wipes are made from cellulose, an ultra thirsty material, which means that each wipe can absorb 22 times its own dry weight in water.
Our Thick Moppets are made from cellulose which is a plant based material that’s compostable. 100% of the wood pulp used to make the cellulose comes from sustainably managed forests. They are durable and can be used multiple times, just pop them in the washing machine between uses. The packaging now uses 44% less plastic compared to the previous pack, meaning we are using 89kg less plastic for every 100,000 packs.
TOP TIP: If the Thick Moppet has dried out then just wet it, it'll reinvigorate the sponge and make it flexible again.
